EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS
Adult and Youth Organizations

Please register by October 14, 2011. Booths will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

Exhibits can be assembled on the following dates:

MONDAY OCTOBER 24, 2011- 2 PM-6 PM
TUESDAY OCTOBER 25, 2011- 2 PM- 6 PM

CHECK OUT FOR EXHIBIT BOOTHS MONDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2011, 1:30 PM-6 PM
(There are no other check-in or check-out times available. Booths must be completely empty and free of trash, staples, glue or paint to receive your premium.)

1.Please see above for assembly and check-out times.

2. The Exhibits are to represent some phase of the County's or Community's Educational Program towards better living. The Exhibits must also display the development of the County and Community from either in the home, on the farm, or over-all progress and development.

3. Products shown in the exhibit must be superior quality, attractively displayed.

4. The help of any nonprofessional citizen in the County making the display may be selected and used, but the exhibit should be under the supervision of the County Extension Chairman, County Extension Agent, FHA, or FFA Vocational Teacher, but MUST BE PLANNED, CONSTRUCTED, AND SET UP by the organizational membership of an organized county or community group.

5. The frame of the exhibit shall be furnished and installed by the Fair Association. Walls are bare wood.

6. Exhibitors will be notified of booth dimensions by letter from the Chatham County Extension Office.

7. EXHIBITORS ARE JUDGED BY COMPARISON AND ON A COMPETITIVE BASIS. THE EXHIBITORS' NAMES WILL NOT BE VISIBLE DURING JUDGING. WHERE THERE IS BUT ONE ARTICLE EXHIBITED UNDER ANY LOT NUMBER, A FIRST AWARD CANNOT BE GIVEN. IN THIS INSTANCE, IF THE ARTICLE IS MERITORIOUS, SECOND-PRIZE MONEY WILL BE PAID AND FIRST RIBBON PLACED.
